Stem Cell Lawsuit Back Again -

As expected, the plaintiffs in a lawsuit claiming that the research funded by the federal government on human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) is illegal have appealed a decision which dealt them a defeat earlier this summer.

The scientists James Sherley and Theresa Deisher filed their suit ago 2 years, arguing that the National Institutes of Health __gVirt_NP_NN_NNPS

The applicants have now appealed the decision Lamberth in a two-page Notice dated 19 September. The Appeal Court will now publish a timetable for submissions and arguments. Legal experts have predicted that the plaintiffs will lose the appeal court and take their case to the Supreme Court of the United States, where their chances of success seem too thin.
