a federal judge dismissed a lawsuit challenging the policy of the Obama administration lifted restrictions on the use of federal funds to study human embryonic stem cells. Christian groups had sued the National Institutes of Health in August, arguing on behalf of themselves and embryos that guidelines on stem cells NIH violate the prohibition against using federal funds to create or destroy human embryos. According to Bloomberg, Judge of the US District Court Royce Lamberth ruled yesterday in Washington that the groups had no standing because the Supreme Court of the United States found that embryos are not persons under the law, the unborn child has no constitutional right to life.
