Four European countries have ordered a measure vaccine for the new strain of H1N1 by GlaxoSmithKline. In a press release issued today, the company said it has not received a "seed stock" from the World Health Organization for vaccine manufacture and upon receipt of stock , it will take 4-6 months to produce the vaccine. This means that the vaccine may not be ready until the flu season in the fall. the four countries have placed orders are the United Kingdom, France, Belgium and Finland.
