You can help prevent acne from getting worse by the way you wash your face:

  1. gently wash your face once or twice a day with warm water and soap or mild acne wash.

For mild acne

Mild acne, and some buttons that disappear by themselves, may not need any treatment medical. Try an acne cream with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. These work best when used just the way the label says.
