Chris Barritt ended the Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland Sprint Triathlon.

This is four years old cardiac patient Adventist Hospital Washington Chris Barritt addressed cardiac surgery and braved a cross-country motorcycle adventure a few months later. The steps do not end there. Last summer, Chris finished his first Sprint Triathlon; a 400 meter swim, 14 mile bike and 5K race. And in the last two months, he completed two more! In his last contest, the Hagerstown Sprint Triathlon July 12, Chris was fifth out of seven in the age group 60-64 years for men. Way to go Chris!

"I know my life is not here forever, so I want to stay healthy and as active as possible," said Chris. "I feel that I am responsible for my family to take care of my heart and keeping it in good shape."
